- Superior service can be delivered by re-investing value released by the removal of wasteful and redundant work.
- Business innovation - the application of new ideas to business issues - is the best way to release value.
- Business innovation occurs when there is alignment amongst all stakeholders in an organisation and when the organisation is open to ideas from anywhere (the “open source” approach).
- Alignment occurs when an organisation’s strategy can be simply and clearly expressed and engages people at all levels.
- An organisation works most effectively when it develops its own competency in managing change.
